What: a really tasty 4 piece upbeat indie pop/rock band.

Where: Templeogue/Knocklyon, Dublin.

When: They’re opening up gig #3 for us at Whelan’s, Dublin June 18th.

Why: We heard great things in their music and on the street about them. We instantly loved their sound and thought, sure why not? That’s the why :)

Not much is currently known about The Temps but that’s the beauty of Gardiner Music, we like to rummage around and bring to your attention new music and emerging talent. These guys have played The Button Factory, the Workman’s Club, Fibbers, The Mezz, Sweeneys, Sober Lane (Cork), the Bello Bar and they can add Whelan’s to that amazing list night of June 18th.

It was when they opened Searchlight 2016 that they came to our attention. When we took a listen to their 5 track EP on SoundCloud we smiled because their upbeat, catchy lyrics and that air of coolness in the vocals made them the perfect outfit for the first of our summer gigs. As lovers of the Manchester sound, these boys from Dublin were like a breath of fresh air. Fresh out of the box yet with a sound already their own we are not only delighted that they have chosen to open for us but totally excited about seeing them play at Whelan’s June 18th. We may be the promoters but definitely the punters for that gig!
